can't seem to memorize an investment transaction if it has the MiscExp Action

I get periodic management fee withdrawals that show up on sync as MGMTFEE TO ADVISOR from Schwab in the Security Name field, and get MiscExp (Miscellaneous Expense) as the Transaction type / Action. They leave the Category blank, and I have to go in and add my personal category "investment expense" to each transaction. I was hoping to memorize the transaction with the category so that the category would automatically be applied when the transactions download. While I can memorize most types of investment transactions, it doesn't appear that I can memorize a MiscExp action transaction. Is there a way around this so the right Category can be applied when there is a sync download?

I just gave this a try, and there wasn't an option to memorize either MiscExp or MiscInc … but was there when I tried several other actions.

I'd call this a bug, and I'll suggest that you report it to Q Support via the link at the top of this page.

Instruction is to record the transaction and then right-click and choose "Memorize Investment Transaction", but that option doesn't exist for the Misc type transactions.

Agree - since it was specific to those two categories I wondered if it was intentional, but I'll try reporting it.
