Fidelity SPAXX CvrShrtX ? What am I supposed to do here??

I transferred $200 from a Fidelity Investing account (where I have Cash {SPAXX} in a separate Quicken account), to a non-Fidelity account, just fine. After downloading transactions, the Fidelity Cash/SPAXX, and the non-Fidelity account show these properly cleared. HOWEVER, there's an odd transaction in the Fidelity non-Cash Quicken account, I cannot figure out how to code.

(There was also a mystery pop-up about tracking FDRXX as cash in the download. I had to go look at our 7 Fidelity accounts to learn it in my wife's IRA, so I opted not to track that one in a separate account. Also, I have to manually update my share balances in a Fidelity 401k after each download. SO tired of Quicken Issues with Fidelity.)

I just experienced a similar entry created after one-step update. In this forum, go to "known issues" or search for "UPDATE! 2/11/26 Fidelity Core Cash Transactions Downloading as “Cover Short Sale (CvrShrt)”. (If I was more technical, I could probably link to it, but a search should find it.) I read it just before seeing your question. I think it is what happened to you.

Thanks! That was it. Here's the link: https://community.quicken.com/discussion/7971005/update-2-11-26-fidelity-core-cash-transactions-downloading-as-cover-short-sale-cvrshrt

And I followed the advice from the update:

    • If you treat your Money Market fund as cash, you can safely delete the affected transactions.
