Possible bug: New update on Feb 13 created 12/30/6900 register entry and forced USAA reauthorization

After installing today’s Feb 13, 2026 Quicken Classic Premier update, my USAA checking register displayed an unexpected “Adjusting Transaction” dated 12/30/6900 for several thousand $ which matched an earlier payment that had been paid and cleared. The adjustment would have reduced the account registry by several thousand dollars has it not been detected.

After deleting the entry, One Step Update failed for USAA and required re-authorization (even though authorization had been completed two days earlier).

After re-auth, downloads resumed normally.

This behavior suggests a regression bug in the latest update affecting USAA connectivity and/or register integrity

My backup preferences were also altered.

• My prior setting prompted for a manual backup after each session.
• Post-update, both automatic and manual backup settings were changed without user action.

This raises concern that the update may be overwriting user preference settings.

Flagging this in case others see similar behavior.

    Hello @ddenucci,

Thank you for reporting the issues you experienced after updating to R66.

I am unable to recreate the issue you described with USAA. I do not have USAA accounts to test it with, but this did not happen with my accounts.

The issue of backup preferences being changed has been escalated internally. If you would like to contribute to that investigation, you can go to Help>Report a problem>Send to Quicken and send over log files.

If you send them over, please let us know so we can add them.

    Thanks again!
