Recently added a new security TSX:PSLV to my portfolio but Quicken does not recognize.
I sent them a report. I also initiated a query with CHAT but all I got was to load CSV, but I do not use CSV or attach the data to my accounts. The only connections I have are for my Credit card Accounts.
While I have a file # and staff are supposed to contact me Monday (prob. to educate themselves or get someone more experienced), anyone else running like this? I prefer to manage my own records
and do not wish to connect my investment accounts. Using Classic in Canada on Windows 11

The security under discussion IS cross-listed in CAD on TSE; however, Quicken doesn't include it in its price data feed. This is a common problem - Quicken's data feed for Canadian listed securities is very incomplete - with no price data for many securities. One can include the TSE:PLSV in a CAD denominated investment account in Quicken, but Quicken is not receiving price data in its security price data feed. Note; that the correct nomencalture for the Toronto Stock Exchange in Quicken is TSE not TSX.

PSLV appears to be denominated in USD, not CAD, and in Q an investment account can only hold securities that are of a single currency.
Sprott Physical Silver Trust USD
SO, you'll need to create a USD investment account for this security to be recognized.

Hi NotACPA,
I had similar situation with another dual currency/market listing and what you suggest is what I did for that one.
I shall provide feedback on any other response I get from Q staff.
Any feedback on what Quicken retains or can view of your Investing records?
Thanks

Q staff not aware of this and after I tried to explain, they did not listen or understand.
Cut me off and I subsequently found one of my connected CC accounts had been disconnected and I had to reconnect. Such is life. A fellow with a hard to understand accent, but then I am deaf and relatively soft spoken so it prob ran both ways. Anyway, makes me more leary.
