Please make a proper Miles / CC Points Category / Account.

Yes, we all know you can do that "Hack" where you create a bogus Security, set the price to 1 and then create Single MF investment account where you can manually add transactions in a 1 for 1 basis. But you should be able to download from the point total from AMEX, Delta, Capital One, Chase, Hilton, Marriott . . . .

Microsoft Money had the basic tracking down ( minus connecting to accounts). This seems like it would be an easy task to create especially since miles / usage is not going away

The "connecting to online accounts" part would require action by the points creating/tracking entities to make their sites accessible AND in a format that Q could read.
    Can't see that happening.

Downloading of bank/investing/card transactions work because of the OFX/QFX standard that was adopted many years ago. Your "AMEX, Delta, Capital One, Chase, Hilton, Marriott . . . ." providers would need to do the same for this to happen.

The "hack" is all that you're going to get anytime in the near future.
