Why some investment accounts in Quicken Classic Premier don't update?

On Quicken R66.18, some Fidelity investment accounts have stopped updating and show zero balances. They updated correctly for years, and I don't know why they aren't now. When I edit those accounts, it show they're not set up for online, so I go through the online setup process—-connect to Fidelity, jump through their hurdles, and everything seems to be fine. But I've repeated this three times, and still no update.

What should I try next?

1st, making sure that you're talking about Fidelity Investments, and not Fidelity NetBenefits. Is that right?

2nd, when you do TOOLS, Account List … what shows in the "Transaction Download", "Last Download" and "Financial Institution" columns next to each of these accounts?

3rd, when you click EDIT next to each account, what shows as the "Account Type " and "Tracking Method"?

BTW, I'm on R66.18 also, and had no problems downloading this morning.

    Thanks for responding.

    Yes, on Fidelity Investments.

In Tools/Account List, Transaction Download shows Yes (Express Web Connect+) for two of the no-update accounts, No (Activate Downloads) for one.

Last Download shows Not Available for all 3.

    Financial Institution shows Fidelity Investments.

Account type: Brokerage Tracking method: Simple

Adding to the puzzlement: It all worked fine until a few days ago, and my wife's Fidelity accounts, and two of mine update OK. But three others, including my largest, don't. The largest is the one that says I need to activate downloads—which I've tried to do at least half a dozen times. Download setup process seems to work, no error message, but still zero balance.

All looks normal on Fidelity's site.

I've been using Quicken for about 30 years, but I still occasionally run into a glitch that stumps me.

I solved the problem by deleting the uncooperative accounts and starting over. All seems to be good now.
