Investment Performance Report Improvement: add last 5, 10, & 15 year options [Edited]

I find it frustrating the Quicken does not have an automatic tab for the Investment Performance Report to select: Last 3 years, Last 5 Years, Last 10 Years and Last 15 Years. These are the reports that you can always find when investigating a stock, etf or mutual fund. However you can not get this information for your own holdings in Quicken without very laborious scrolling through dates.

At least they do have Year to Date, Last 12 Months and Last Year. But that is not enough.

    I am not sure why you must laboriously scroll through dates. You can set a custom date range for the report, so for 5 years it would be 2/27/2021 to date. If you have saved the report, you do have to set the start date each time you run it.

    Note also that the Investing > Portfolio views have Avg. Annual return (%) columns for 1, 3, and 5 years. These perform the same calculations as the Investment Performance Report.

    Also you may find that the YTD setting for the IPR is not very useful, because it is annualized, so assumes that any YTD gains or losses will continue at the same rate for the rest of the year. For me, a better way to see YTD returns is to set the date range to Yearly and Current year. That assumes that the return will be flat for the rest of the year.
