How do I add a 2nd account for a same card number?
My husband and I each have an American Express card with the same account credit card number on it, but our accounts at American Express are separate. I want to get the information downloaded for both accounts, but every time I try to add the second account it tells me that it is already joined with the other card with the same number. How do I solve this?

What does the monthly statement from AMEX look like? Does it separate out charges by card? How about the website?
When you download into 1 account (either) does it download for both cards, or only one? If only one, how are the 2 cards distinguished?
SO, part of what I'm asking is: If you've got the same card number, how are the accounts "separate"?
And, when you do TOOLS, Account List, what shows in the "Transaction Download" column next to the card that's already connected?

Each card has its own statement. We log on to the accounts under separate usernames and passwords, one for each account and can only see our personal account.
When I download, it only downloads for my husband's card, not mine. I have no idea how the cards are distinguished other than by the name on the card.
On the Account List, the Transaction Dowload says "Yes (Express Web Connect+)"
Thanks in advance for any help you might be able to provide.

One more thought, I believe our security code numbers on the cards are different.
