Stable + reliable online banking

The last 6 months or so (when did Fidelity break?) of online banking failures have eroded trust in Quicken and the Quicken brand for many loyal users. There needs to be a concerted and successful effort to stabilize online banking. Furthermore I'd like the Quicken team to invest in more transparency about the ongoing issues with online banking. "We are aware of an issue, and there is no ETA for a fix" followed by weeks/months of silence for a given issue does nothing to regrow trust; instead it erodes it further.

Fidelity Investments is always the one for me. Cannot count the number of times in the last year this has happened. Please put some more resources on it or let us know the issue and let us do that for you with Fidelity. User since the 1990's and don't want to find another solution. Thanks from a loyal user!

Whereas I think I do think some of the problem might fall into Quicken Inc's ballpark I think most of this they have no control over.

It is the financial institutions and Intuit that handle the bulk of this. And the "no ETA" policies were always part of Intuit's DNA.

Quicken Inc is a much a "customer" of the online services as you are. They pay Intuit to handle the online connections for the financial institutions.
