Settings for importing a QIF file

I need to import a QIF file. When I have done this in the past it changed the amounts on some of the checks. If there is a check with cents on it (.50, .37, etc.) it changes the amount of the check to higher or lower to a (.00) number. I need to import 426 checks and I don't want to have to check every entry to be sure it didn't change the amount. Also, how do I change the format of the date of the imported checks. Thanks!

I do QIF file imports routinely using the ImportQIF program written and provided free by QuicknPerlWiz (quicknperlwiz.com).

It is easy to use and QPW does a great job of supporting it on his website.
