I understand there is functionality for a deep dive into the portfolio. This should be available to deluxe subscribers currently it’s not available. This is an easy change to improve the experience.

It is only made available to Premier and up subscribers. The whole idea of Premier is extra investing reports. If X-ray were to be added to Deluxe Premier wouldn't add much extra value.

Bottom line is you need to pay extra for Premier if you want X-Ray.

The X-Ray functionality has deteriorated significantly over the past couple of years. It now shows "benchmarks" but does not define what the "benchmarks" are. There are problems with the graphics and the "AI insight" is basically the same as it was a year ago and now just referred to it as "AI generated". Frankly, this component of Quicken is not worth the extra price. It is very disappointing that Quicken (which is the "integrator of financial data" for individuals) has degraded the one tool that provides Investors a true overview of their risk and asset allocation. My guess is Morningstar does not want to support this functionality anymore and Quicken has no way of replacing what it once had. It's a shame…..

If the X-Ray worked properly, it would definitely be worth the extra cost of Premier.

To get the X-Ray and other features from Morningstar, you must pay about $300 annually.
