    UPDATE 3/12/26

Our teams are continuing to investigate reports of “Everything Else” appearing in Budget Reports with no option to remove it. While the issue remains under review, we do have some additional information to share.

In many cases, the “Everything Else” line can appear depending on how budget categories are selected.

    • If a parent category is selected in the budget but not all of its subcategories are selected, Quicken may display an “Everything Else” line to represent the remaining subcategories within that parent category.
    • If you do not want the “Everything Else” line to appear, you can try one of the following options:
      • Select all subcategories under the parent category in your budget, or
      • Remove the parent category from the budget by opening the budget, selecting Manage Budget Categories, and de-selecting the relevant parent category while leaving the desired subcategories selected.

Our teams continue to review reports related to this behavior. At this time, we do not have an ETA for further updates, but this Alert will be updated as more information becomes available.

We appreciate your patience and apologize for any inconvenience.

    Thank you!
