Quicken Issues Getting Worse — Missing Transactions, Considering Switching, Am I Alone?
PNC and Quicken Classic have been continually having problems downloading transactions. I’ve been a user for 16 years, but over the past few months reliability has dropped significantly.
Direct Connect is not working consistently — transactions go missing, then partially come back, then break again. Even when it “gets fixed,” it creates more work with duplicate transactions and manual cleanup.
What’s most frustrating is the finger pointing between Quicken and PNC. As a customer, I don’t really care whose issue it is — I just need a product that works reliably.
Are others seeing the same behavior recently?

This is a known issue with PNC Bank - Direct Connect, and unfortunately, we do not have an estimated resolution time. I recommend monitoring the alert, as it will be updated if additional information becomes available.
