Register Slider Square Too Dim

The register slider (up and down) is so dim my old eyes can barely see it and often I don't see it at all. It does become slightly darker when I "focus" it and very dark when left click on it to drag it. All other times is just too dim.

    Try EDIT, Preferences, Colors … and see if other color schemes improve the situation for you.
