Fidelity Checking/Investment Error
Until 3/31 Checking/Investment was treating FZDXX as cash. Occasionally had to change transactions from div to divx to reconcile the accounts. But as of 3/31 two transactions downloaded as div. Changed both to divx so checking account is correct. But the investment account still shows the total of the two transactions. Under holdings I see cash and under a separate holding now shows the total of those two transactions as FZDXX. But the cash is also FZDXX as I had changed that weeks ago and verified that in the edit/delete menu. Why is Quicken so unstable?

Ok, so you've got a taxable brokerage account, that holds the FZDXX and a checking account at Fidelity. Is that right?
Was the checking account created by the "Show cash in a checking account" option on the brokerage account, or how?
Because I don't understand why 2 txn downloaded on 3/31. I'd expect a single DivX that automatically moves the money from brokerage to checking.
And, BTW, I've had recent issues where what should have been a DivX was recorded as a Div also … but an EDIT (with no actual changes) and Save corrected it.

Question 1: yes. Question 2: yes. Sentence 3: 2 separate txn as div. one for 9.42 and another as 638.39. Both were not moved from brokerage to checking. I moved them to checking by changing both to divx. Brokerage still has the total of both and has them as a holding under FZDXX. But Cash is FZDXX as verified in "online details".

Searching for ways to fix I resolved the problem by clicking on the edit button for each txn in the brokerage account doing nothing but clicking on the enter/done button. Why it worked, haven't a clue.
