Wells Fargo
Has anyone (else) noted that Wells Fargo accounts will now only download / update if the VPN is turned off? Is there any way to adjust that?

In some cases, when a VPN is enabled, Wells Fargo (like many financial institutions) may block or restrict connections that appear to come from VPN or masked IP addresses for security reasons. This can prevent Quicken from updating accounts properly.
At this time, there isn’t a setting in Quicken Classic for Windows to adjust or bypass VPN behavior, the connection is determined by your network environment, not by Quicken itself.
A few options that typically help:
- Temporarily disable the VPN when running One Step Update.
- Use your VPN settings to allow Quicken or the browser used for bank authentication.
- Check with your VPN provider for guidance on allowing Quicken traffic and preventing blocks in Quicken or the browser.
Once the update completes, you can usually re-enable the VPN if needed.
