What happened to the manual setup of Credit Card Account URL's

I'm having a problem setting up account access on one of my Credit Cards. I have not problems starting the process, where the problems occur is when I get to the part where it want the credit card info. I search using the Company name, get 4 Choices. Non of the choices URL match what I used on the Web to look at my transaction. The problem is that the URL I access on the Web does not match any provided by the options. At one time there use to be the ability to manually enter the URL. Is that no longer available.

A different approach would be to download a Web Connect .QFX file from the financial institution (assuming that they offer them). Then import that .QFX file into Quicken (File menu).

You will then have the opportunity to create a new account. After it is created, Quicken will know which FI was the correct FI from the multiple choices. Then if you want, you can edit that account (Tools→Account List) and on the Online Services tab, activate the account for downloading via One Step Update.

NOTE: I haven't done this in a while, but you might be offered the ability to link it to an existing account if it already exist versus creating a new one.

it is an existing account that handled downloads, Target. I originally set it by doing it manually and providing the link for the sign on. I'm not sure they creat QFX FILES during Download. Will check

My experience with the Target RedCard is that they do NOT create a valid .QFX file.

Here is a section of a recent Target RedCard .QFX download, notice the "null" text in several of the fields near the bottom, they shouldn't be "null".

I download a CSV file and use ImportQIF to convert it to a QIF file for import into Quicken.
