Add Category Groups to the Spending Itemized Categories Report

It would be helpful to have the Category Groups available as a configuration option for the Itemized Categories Report. Currently to limit the report to a specific group of categories it must be done manually using the check boxed. Tedious and error prone - especially since the check box area cannot be enlarged.

This can be especially when checking to see that individual transactions where not mistakenly categorized.

    Is there any way to have a report by category group (i.e. discretionary vs non-discretionary). The only option I see is via Budget.

    You could create expense categories for discretionary and non-discretionary. Then create sub-categories as necessary within each.
