Investment Account checking account cash position does not equal Investing Portfolio view cash total

My Brokerage Investment account in Quicken is set up to keep cash in a separate checking account. The total in this account matches the cash total on my Brokerage’s website.

The cash amount shown at the bottom of my Investing Portfolio view of the Investment account in Quicken is consistently $262.69 below what shows in the Investment account separate checking account and on my Brokerage’s website.

When I compare the Quicken Total Market Value to my Brokerage’s website Total Value, Quicken is $262.69 below the Brokerage’s website. I cannot find a transaction totaling $262.69 to account for this.

From other post suggestions in this forum I looked to find where this discrepancy started. It looks like November 2025. At this time $DD spun out $Q. My brokerage shows 2 simple transactions for this event. In Quicken there are more than 25 smaller transactions apparently matching each $DD dividend payment to its corresponding portion of the $Q spinoff. There are also 2 $Q placeholders which look like they account for partial $Q shares paid in cash not stock. Both $Q and $DD quantities are correct in Quicken. None of these transactions, nor multiple combinations of these transactions I tried, equal $262.69.

Right now, using a Quicken backup file, I am removing all the $Q transactions and reentering them. This is a bear of a task which I’d prefer to avoid.

Suggestions?

I’d really like an adjustment transaction to get the numbers to match. I’ve tried multiple transaction types but they all seem to hit the Investment checking account as well.
