Updating this way sucks but its the only way I can get the program to update. I tried using the help menu and selecting "check for updates" but it always returns wit an "unknown error" message.

I have to disable my network adapter and it will load with in 5 seconds. It takes about a minute to load my file if I'm connected to the internet.

I've been checking for updates once a week here. https://www.quicken.com/support/reinstalling-and-patching-your-quicken-subscription-version-after-your-membership-has/#section-windows-3

No, I'm still having the same problem.

I can't explain it but I closed Quicken, unplugged my Ethernet cable, restarted Quicken and the file loaded in 5 seconds, closed Quicken and then reinstalled the Ethernet cable. Now the file loads in 5 seconds each time so far. I have not rebooted my PC yet though and will have to see if that causes the problem to return.

I am experiencing the same problem since switching my ISP to StarLink. Have you found a solution?

    Thanks, MNoel
