Turn off Synch unless you are using Quicken on the web or the mobile apps. Using the up to date computer, save a backup to a USB drive and restore it on the out of date system.1 -

Quicken does not have a Category or Tax Line Item for NIIT but it is calculated and included in the Other taxes and Credits section of the Tax Planner.1
