One other observation: this duplication does not seem to occur for me with investment accounts. Just bank checking, savings, and credit card accounts regardless of the card type.1 -

Another observation. Even if I choose to match manually with a previously entered transaction and accept that match, Quicken still adds the newly downloaded transaction as a new one.1 -
