1. In the Profile down-down menu.
2. The My Discussions link under the Quick Links on the upper right side of any page.

       

If you've added a comment to a post that was started by another community member, your comment will not be found under My Discussions.

Instead, any comment you've added may be found under the "Comments" section in your community profile. 

Click the avatar image in the profile drop-down menu to open your profile and select "Comments" on the right.

There are several options for managing notifications in the community, ensuring you receive as many or as little notifications as you wish.

Following Categories

New in the community!  User designated preferences for following categories, receiving notifications for new posts and/or comments, just new posts, or none.

To follow a category, click the bell icon in the upper right of the category and choose to follow and/or receive notifications for that category.

• Follow: This option will allow you to follow the category without receiving email notifications and filter your Recent Discussions list.
• Discussions: This option will allow you to follow the category and receive notifications when new discussions are added.
• Discussions and Comments: This option will allow you to follow the category and receive notifications when new discussions and comments are posted.
• Unfollow: This option will appear once you choose to follow and subscribe to notifications, and will allow you to unfollow and disable notifications.

Once you’ve decided which categories you’d like to follow, visit your notification preferences in your community profile to decide how you’d like to receive notifications and for what.

To find the notification preferences, click the Profile avatar image at the top right and select Edit Profile

Check the boxes for whether you’d prefer email or pop-up notices in the community.  If you do not wish to receive any notifications, leave the boxes unchecked.

If you are still having problems with Chat and Firefox, set "Enhanced Tracking Protection" in Options > Privacy & Security to "Standard."

• Crop your screenshot: You may have taken a screenshot of the whole screen or included more than you wanted in a partial-screen image. Choose the rectangular selection tool and draw a selection around the area you want to keep. Then click the Crop button on the markup tool bar, or menu Tools > Crop.
• Hide personal information (redacting): Use one of the selection tools to enclose the personal or sensitive information you want to hide. Then hit the Delete key on the keyboard (or menu Edit > Delete). The area will be replaced by gray. Alternatively, you can use one of the drawing tools to draw a shape or brushstrokes over the personal info.
• Highlight important info: You can use the drawing tools to draw attention to important parts of your screenshots. For example, you can use the arrow tool to point a red arrow at a screenshot object. Use the rectangle or oval drawing tools to circle something you want to highlight. (Hint: change the fill color to transparent.) 
• Annotate with text: You can use the Text tool to add text to your screenshots. Use the Border Color, Fill Color, and Text Style tools to adjust how the text looks.

Ask a Question: if you just have a question about how to do something in Quicken, select this option.  You'll be notified via email if someone has answered your question.  

PRO TIP: you'll see an option on each answer to vote--please select Yes or No to help other users find the right answers, and thank the person that answered your question!

New Discussion: If you just want to talk about something related to Quicken, choose this option.  Others can comment on your thread and further the discussion.

New Idea: If you have an idea on how to improve Quicken or the Community, select New Idea.  Other users can vote on your idea; the more votes your idea received, the likelier it will be implemented!

Some guidelines to keep in mind when posting to the community:

• Choose the category that best fits your specific question, so it’s easier to find and will receive faster responses.
• Add a screenshot or video of what you're seeing (just be sure to cover any personal info!).  
• Be as detailed as possible--what version of Quicken are you using?  Are you receiving an error?  Which bank are you having issues with?  The more detail you add, the quicker you'll have an answer.  Be sure to pick a product category.
• Be respectful--a lot of the folks on this community are users, just like you--treat them like you would want to be treated!
• If you have specific feedback or ideas for Quicken, be sure to select the “Idea” category when you post—this will go directly to our product team.
• Pay it forward--if you're a Quicken user, see if you can answer some questions while you're here!

SuperUser - these are other users with a master-level understanding of Quicken, who have answered hundreds (and thousands) of questions on the community; they will answer a wide variety of questions centering on how to use Quicken (anywhere from setting up accounts to tracking your investments).

Moderator - these are Quicken employees who are dedicated to moderating the community and answering questions; Moderators can help you with Quicken, but they can also work with you if you've got an issue with your Quicken order or questions about managing your Quicken.com account.  The Moderators will help guide you to support if they can't resolve your issue on the community, and they're available seven days a week--they'll always have the username "Quicken Name" such as "Quicken Kathryn".

Employee - these are also Quicken employees and Quicken experts, but they aren't focused full-time on the community; they'll come in and help on occasion, or to ask for product feedback.  Like moderators, they'll always have the username "Quicken Name" such as "Quicken Kathryn"

Member - a user is any registered member of the community who doesn't fall into the above groups; users can log in to the community, and ask and answer questions. 

Beta Tester - a member of our private beta community, testing Quicken Windows, Mac, or Canada.

Administrator - some of our Moderators/Employees are also Administrators in the community; this means that in addition to keeping the community in order, Admins are also able to do backend changes, like moving or adding community categories, updating user accounts if needed, or changing the appearance of the community.

Voting for an Idea
If someone else has posted your idea, you can vote for it by clicking the "^" triangle under the voting count, either in the list of ideas or on the first post in the thread:

If you accidentally vote up an idea, just click the voting box again to remove your vote.  You can only vote on an idea once.

Adding an Idea
If your idea is brand new, congrats!  Just click the "New Post" dropdown in the top right of the community and click on "New Idea".  Just be sure to add as much detail as possible to make your argument for why your idea should be implemented.

Use basic common sense, courtesy and respect other members at all times. Posts and content which are considered to be disruptive, provocative, and offensive or appear to be attacking another user are not only unkind, but are also not acceptable on the Quicken Community. It is OK to disagree - but be sure to criticize ideas, not people.

Help others by keeping things organized.

• Choose clear and concise titles for your questions and posts.
• Include your Quicken version and computer operating system when you post.
• Search for your question before posting it to make sure it hasn’t already been asked.
• Post your questions in the correct category and include relevant tags on your post.
• Stay on topic within a post - if you want to talk about something else, create a new one.

Improve the discussion

Work with us to ensure this community is a great place for discussion:

• Use the “Unanswered Questions” section to identify areas where you can show off your expertise and contribute valuable content to the community.
• Provide full, complete, and reproducible information so community members can answer your question.
• Upvote, downvote, and react to other members’ posts to give feedback.  Thank those who help you!
• Update your notifications on your “Profile” page to ensure that you don’t miss relevant posts.
• Use the “Flag” button on any post that you believe is inappropriate or out of place and our administrators will review it.

Moderation Policies

Our Moderators are here to answer questions, help organize the content, and make sure everyone is behaving appropriately in the community.

Moderators have the right to edit, remove, or merge content as they deem fit to maintain the quality of content in the community.

Moderators will be on the lookout for inappropriate, offensive, or off-topic posts. We reserve the right to remove any content for any reason we deem fit.

Moderators will also be on the lookout for individuals who are not behaving appropriately in the community. Inappropriate behavior includes, but is not limited to:

• Posting the same topic or issue repeatedly
• Attempting to sell items or services on the community
• Impersonating another member or misrepresenting yourself
• Trolling other community members
• Reposting content previously removed by a moderator
• Modifying edits made by a moderator
• We reserve the right to terminate any membership temporarily or permanently as we see fit.

Participation is voluntary

If the Quicken Community isn’t for you, you don’t have to stay. We’ll miss you, but we’d hate for you to stick around if you’re unhappy.

1. the same old toll-free number they have always had IS STILL VALID for non-premium memberships: 1-888-311-7276 (this is THE ONLY LEGITIMATE toll-free number for Quicken. They simply no longer publish it on their support page.)
2. For premium memberships, you have to look up a special number in your Quicken.com account. This will give you front-of-the-line service (using same reps).

• If your issue involves online banking, specify the name of your financial institution exactly as Quicken shows it.
• Show any error messages in their entirety.
• Include a screen capture if it will help clarify the issue. (But don't reveal any private information such as account numbers.)

1. Search First!  This community has been around for a long time - odds are, your question has already been answered.
2. Review the Announcements - it'll let you know if we're already working on your issue; you can follow an announcement to be notified when your specific issue is resolved.
3. When you post a question or problem, include your Quicken version and year (for example, Quicken Windows 2016) and your operating system version (Windows 10?  Mac OS 10.12?) to get a faster answer.  Answers can vary greatly depending on what version of Quicken you're using.
4. Online banking issue?  Be sure to include the name of your bank, how you're connecting, and where you are (U.S. or Canada?).
5. Show gratitude!  Did an answer help you?  Don’t forget to click Helpful or Like on a post or answer to thank our users - they donate their time to help other Quicken users like you - give them a round of applause!
