Can I make a copy of a customer invoice?
unknown
Within Quicken H&B 2009, when creating a customer invoice, is there a way to copy an older invoice, add a new date and invoice number, to avoid retyping an invoice from scratch.

Right-click the invoice, select "Copy transaction(s)". Right-click (again) somewhere in the register (Transactions tab) and select "Paste transaction(s)". Edit the pasted transaction to suit, and press/click Enter.

The copy transaction works, but it is truly cumbersome that the date, due date, and invoice number have to be manually changed. Ugh, can't those three items automatically update to the current date?

I know this is old, but it's not marked "answered" and it's not closed for discussion, so here goes . . .
You don't need to retype anything. Any item you add to an invoice can be saved as an "Invoice item" and you then just select the item from the drop-down list in the item field.
