Quicken FAQ: Why is Quicken charging me for product support? Where can I get free Quicken support?

I contacted Quicken support and they tried to charge me a large amount of money to fix my issue, or they asked me to download software to fix my issue—where can I get free Quicken support?

    Quicken currently has free chat and phone support available—but there are third party support companies, found on search engines like Google or Bing, that are not affiliated with Quicken.  When you call these third party companies, they will often ask for large payments, ranging from $100 to $400, and may try to sell you anti-virus software, or expensive yearly support plans.


    Quicken support charges a fee of $49.95 for our Premium Support product; however, the maximum cost of support is $49.95 for a full year of service (as of the time of this posting - please review our support plans here: http://www.quicken.com/support).
