Portfolio X-Ray is a great addition but we cannot print the report.  Why?

    Hi Bridge Builder,

I'm sorry for any confusion or inconvenience this has caused. To help us provide the most appropriate response, please let us know which Quicken product (QWin or QMac) and what version (2016, 2017, etc.) you are using. Also, are you using the US version of Quicken or Quicken Canada?

    Thanks,
    Dave

You can't print Portfolio X-Ray because that is the licensing agreement Quicken Inc worked out. Likely it would have been more expensive to have a printing option.

Quicken user since Q1999. Currently using QW2017.

    QWin Version 2017-R10.

If printing is not an option, how about an export option?

If you have a paid subscription to Morningstar (first 30 days free trial) you can export your portfolio from Quicken and import it on the Morningstar website. From there you can generate and pint X-rays.
    QWin Premier subscription

Thank you for this Jim.  I will give it a try as I have a Morninstar account with portfolio x-ray.

You can also use any screen capture tool, such as the "snipping tool" that comes with Windows 10 to grab the portfolio x-ray report in Quicken and paste into Word, etc to create your own report and print from Word.
