Why doesn't Quicken recognize the MSCI EAFE index symbol MXEA?

Why doesn't Quicken recognize the MSCI EAFE index symbol MXEA? It fails when I enter it directly or as INDEX:MXEA.

It's probably because Quicken has not purchased that data from their supplier.
However, you can download historic data for the MSCI indices fromĀ
https://www.msci.com/end-of-day-data-search
Click on the name of the index to get the data. This requires a browser that works with Flash, i.e. something other than Chrome.
Once downloaded, you should be able to use Excel to convert it to a Quicken compatible CSV format and import to Quicken.
