Corporate Spin-off affecting Investment Performance Report

I just entered a corporate spin-off which seemed o go perfectly OK. However, when looking at the report of Investemement performance my annualualized performance dropped from a positive number to a negative number. Nothing else changed and I know that my investments are up this this. I am using Quicken 17 Windows Version R17-4

    Make sure both the old and new companies are included in the security selection for the report, or you choose a time interval that does not include the spin-off.

    Note that the IRR calculations in the Investment Performance Report will be confusing if the analysis period is less than one year.

    Also if the spin-off included cash, make sure No Security(includes Cash) is included in the Security selection.
