Quicken Classic for Windows
Investing (Windows)
NA appears with no placeholder. Value of Cash only. No value for stocks
unknown
Using 2018 ver R12.15 Build 27.1.12.15 on Windows7 Pro. There are suddenly N/A's in the Cash Amt column, but no placeholders. How do I remove the N/A's? Also the account shows only the CASH value, not the value of the stocks. And the CASH value should be zero, but the N/A transactions create a false cash balance.

Placeholders don't cause the Cash Amt column in the register to go to N/A. It sounds like that account/data file has gotten corrupted. I recommend restoring from a backup.

Are you sure the Placeholders are not hidden?
Go to Edit > Preferences > Investment transactions and make sure Show hidden transactions is checked.

Thanks, for the help. I went to a backup and the main problem was resolved. I made the placeholders visible, so now I am working to resolve them.
