Erratic Quotes

The problem: When Quicken first opens up, we select the tab
“Update” on the investment page and then “Quotes”, first time it will download
100% in about 10 seconds, the timer clock at the top rotates 1⁄2 to 3⁄4 then it’s
done and prices update properly.  Now
the problem is, say a half hour latter we do the same procedure, it takes about
23 seconds and the clock rotates about 20 times, the quotes returned are
incorrect.  We then close out Quicken,
then reopen and do the same procedure and it works perfect first time, but then
repeats the problem when later selected to “Update” “Quotes” and they are incorrect.  We have changed nothing other than you doing
updates which we have no control whether we want to install now or later.

 

Computer software is Windows Vista.

    We have changed nothing other than you doing updates which we have no control whether we want to install now or later.

    You can control upgrades by changing UAC settings in Windows (not familiar with Vista, so this may not apply)
