Cash balance in account list is not same as transaction window. Believe it happened in connection to a transaction related to a cash distribution from an investment account earlier in the year. Quicken Canada H & B. Issue before most recent update..

    I had that issue last week. I did a file validation and it fixed the problem. The fix was called some weird thing that I didn't write down exactly but was something like Account x5dr-35 fixed.

    Thanks for reply. I had tried this, and just did again, but balances are still different.

    To be clear, when you say "account list" is that the account bar (usually on the left side of your screen) and is the cash balance the total account value?



    One thing to check is to click on the gear at the top right of the account bar and verify that it is showing the current and not the ending balance.
