category on phone won't hide

When I hide a Category in Quicken I would expect it not to show on the phone, but it does. Is that correct? I can remove the category and it does not show - but I may want to use them later. Is there a better way to do this?

    When you hide a Category in Desktop Quicken, it does not show up on the phone, until you resync the data.

    I have synced many times trying to get it to work, do I need to reset the syncing process? I can delete them and they go away when I sync the desktop and then the phone, but that does not seem to work when I "Hide" them. It  seems more like a bug...
