want to know how to replace 'place markers' with actual transaction info

Using Quicken Home, Business & Rental, R 17.6, Build 27.1.17.6 with windows 10.  Had problems with investment acct earlier and Support solved problem by creating place marker transactions.  I would like to go back and replace those place markers with actual transactions from my printed Schwab paperwork. because my cash is off and I traced the error back to the time of the place markers.  Is it OK to just type over the placemarkers?

    If you now know the correct entry to make in your transaction list, simply delete the placeholder and make the correct entry.
