Opening current file

Usually when I turn on Quicken my screen goes immediately to the file I'm currently using. This time it tells me to choose a file. Unfortunately my last backup; is a little out of date. Can I find my current file? alternatively where do I put my last backup, what folder? Please reply [edit] XXX Many thanks. Henry

Quicken maintains the location of the four most recent files accessed on the File menu. This list is maintained in the QUSER.INI file maintained within the Window user's AppData folder.
If you've moved a data file, you may have Quicken attempt to locate it by selecting
File > Find Quicken Files...

Interesting..... probably new "member" with an "unconfirmed" email address.Hopefully not getting detoured in the Spam folder.
BTW - edited his email address out of the posting.
Seems like you changed or moved something - like a renamed folder, file, etc -
You should be able to locate your QDF file in the folder
