Downloaded transactions going to the wrong Investment

I download my monthly investments.  In January a change was made at the Investment house concerning a new money market account.  All cash goes into this account, so there are many transactions.  Instead of going into the money market account, the transactions went into an old bond.  All had to be manually corrected.  What do I need to do to make sure this does not happen next month.

Have you checked the symbol for both the MMF and the Bond?  Have you checked the CUSIP for both?

And, for my taxable investment account (this doesn't work for non-taxable accounts) I have my brokerage account to "Show cash in a checking account", which is an option on the Brokerage "Account Details" screen.
