Can't setup Quicken 2019. I bought it for Mac on Amazon but Quicken wants me to buy subscription

You should have received an activation code with your Amazon purchase. Log into Quicken.com (create an account if you don't have one), and there's a place to enter the code. Then when you launch your desktop Quicken, it will ask you to register with your Quicken login credentials, and you'll be able to proceed.

I can't setup Quicken. I bought it on Amazon an hour ago but when I get the "Start from Scratch" it wants me to buy it.

You should have received an Activation Code in an email from Amazon (assuming you bought the downloaded version).  Are you not able to enter that code when you follow the Start from Scratch process?
