Investing (Windows)
WHen updating investment accounts (Vanguard), the dividend reinvestments are not associated
rmillerfam
to the correct investment. How do I change it so the reinvestments are to the correct investment?

: If the Vanguard downloads for "Fund A" are being attributed to "Fund B" in Quicken, edit the "Fund B" security details in Quicken and uncheck the "Matched with Online Security" box. Initiate another download from Vanguard and you should be prompted to associate "Fund A" to a new or existing security in Quicken. Choose as applicable.
You should also check that "Fund B" has its correct ticker symbol and not that of "Fund A". Correct if necessary.

Hello
@rmillerfam
Thank you for taking the time to report this issue to the Community, although I apologize that you have not yet received a response
Please take a moment and review the information at
https://community.quicken.com/discussion/7803899/add-your-quicken-information-to-your-posts-plus-how-you-are-connected-to-the-internet
and post back to let us know what version and release of Quicken you are using.
Do you receive any type of message or error code when updating the Vanguard accounts? If so, what does that message/error code say?
To be sure we are understanding the situation correctly, when updating the Vanguard accounts, reinvestment transactions for one specific security are downloading into the wrong investment account - is that correct?
If not, please also include a little more information on what is happening in Quicken so the Community can assist.
Thank you,
Sarah
