Cannot suppress display of sub-categories in reports

Question

I would like to view and/or print cash flow report, with only category totals, no sub-categories.  Can't figure out a way to do this. The "collapse all" button under Report-Customize-Categories doesn't seem to do anything.

In QWin 2019
Try the Spending > Itemized Categories report. 
Click Update to show and pick Top level summary. 
Click the Customize gear and under Organization pick Cash flow basis.

In the Reports > Banking > Cash Flow report; go to Customize > Advanced > Subcategories, and select "Hide all".
