New IRA Became Brokerage

I've recently upgraded to Quicken 2019 and had to add a bunch of American Funds accounts
In previous versions, SIMPLE IRA was an option. Now, there's only IRA. My old accounts still say SIMPLE, the new ones are labeled as a regular IRA.
Also, even though I selected IRA, the accounts came in as brokerage and I had to change them all. Is that a Quicken thing or Am Funds?
