Adding a new credit card account to Quicken
fjzclu
I want to add a credit card ("Tools", "Add Account", "Credit Card" -- not on list, so "Add Credit Card Account". I added the name of the credit card.
Now it asks for a "xxx Credit Card User ID/User Name". Is that the name on my credit card? Or is that a name I give to the account that shows up in Quicken?
Next it asks for a password. Is this a password I make up for myself? Or is it something at the credit card company?

It is the username and password that you use to login into the credit cards website. Quicken needs it to get the information from your financial institution.

What is the name of the credit card and if a private label card, the name of the bank on the back? Do you intend to download or enter manually for this account.
