I am in the USA on vacation and suddenly I got a message advising me to follow this set of instructions in order to unblock my access.

who can help me with this.

Quicken blocks your access to what? You haven't placed yourself in other shoes, attempting to help you.

I am from Canada. I am visiting the states.. I received a message saying that Quicken blocked me from accessing my files. This was followed by a set of instructions. I am unable to complete these

Hi Carol,

Did you visit that link, because you haven't disclosed which Quicken program you are running, nor the location of your files?

Are your files password-protected? Did you forget your File Password?

 I am using Quicken Home & Business 2019

I am not sure how to post the location of my files. The above is what the instructions told me to do

I am using Windows 10 Home

I am unable to open my quicken.

I don't know how to find my files and copy this link, please advise

Carol,

Your Quicken Data File is usually located in My Documents or Documents\Quicken.

The file would read something like this:  carol.qdf.

Open File Explorer Click View. Click Options on the Toolbar.
Click View on the New Window..

Scroll down and Uncheck Hide File Extensions.



Use File Explorer to find Quicken Folder in your Documents Folder and click on each .qdf file, until you opened the correct file.
