feature request: Add months capabilities on reports for income so you can breakdown income over months with a subtotal. You can only get the expenses by month currently

    @Robert Fischer You can create such a report in Quicken Mac -- it's just not a pre-built report, like the old Spending Over Time, so it may not be intuitive how to get the result you want:
    • Go to Reports > New Report
    • Select Summary report
    • Select Rows=Category, Columns=Time, Interval=Month
    • Click Create Report
    • Click Customize
    • If you don't want the time interval default for this report, which is Last 12 Months, set the date range you wish, such as This Year or Last Year
    • Click on the Categories tab
    • Click Clear All at the bottom, then scroll through the list and select only the income categories you want in the report. (That's a little annoying, I know, but you only have to do it once to create the report.)
    That will give you a report of income categories, by month.
