Unrealized gain/loss appearing in two separate locations
Howard Osharow
I have unrealized gain/loss in both the Income section of the income statement and the Expenses section of the income statement. Together, they net out to the correct total but I don't understand why numbers appear in two places rather than just one in the income section.

I believe you're looking at the Investment Income report, or perhaps some others?
If you're not interested in seeing these UNrealized gains/losses numbers, just customize the report and uncheck "Include unrealized gains" in the Advanced Tab of the report's Customize dialog.

I believe this behavior has always existed. Why it does, I don't know, and if you click through on either figure you get the exact same detail report.
