Is there a merge feature?

I am running Deluxe 2019, is there a "merge transaction" feature? I manually record all transactions. When I reconcile my account and the bank info is downloaded that means I have two transactions for each instance. I then have to go thru and manually delete my duplicate transaction. Another program i was using would search for the same name or amount and ask if i wanted to merge those transactions.

Hello Lisabee630,
To match a transaction on the Mac, one of the transactions has to be downloaded and one has to be manually entered.
For example- these 2 transactions can be matched the date and payee can differ.
These are an example of transactions that cannot be matched.
Two downloaded transactions with the blue dot cannot be matched.
Two manually entered transactions with an orange pencil cannot be matched.
This is an example of what a matched transaction looks.
Manually matching transactions will gradually improve over time as the program learns how these transactions should match.

It's called MATCH. Here is a FAQ

For Mac I think you just drag it onto your manually entered transaction.
Oh, that one is for Windows. Here is one for Mac. Scroll down to Match Downloaded Transactions

I'm staying on Quicken 2013 Premier for Windows.

Thank you. While this answers my question it doesn't really help the situation. In order for Quicken to Match, everything needs to be exactly the same. Sometimes the dates are different or the Payee may be different depending on how the vendor is listed. I still would have to go thru and manually delete or match the transaction. Its not a big inconvenience just an annoyance.0
