Venmo and Quicken won't sync

I have been researching this since Venmo stopped syncing with Quicken back in April. I got the run-around from both Venmo AND Quicken. Finally, I got a definitive answer from Venmo. It's bad news, but it'll save everyone time trying to figure out how to get it to work:

Here is the message I got directly from Venmo:

Venmo has recently upgraded the security system and we are no longer able to link accounts with Quicken. I apologize for any inconvenience this might have caused. I really wish I could be more helpful.
