How to sort investing view by mutual fund type
jabruzese
My printed brokerage statement groups mutual funds by general categories of "Equity" and "Fixed Income", and within those categories, mutual funds are listed alphabetically. How can I sort the holdings in the Investing view in Quicken in the same way? I would like my sort order in Quicken to match the sort order on my statements.

Unfortunately brokerages doe not always agree on these groupings, so there is no way for Quicken to do this automatically.
However you could use the Investing Goal setting for your funds and other securities to define the groups and assign each security to the appropriate group. From the Security Detail view, click on Edit Security Details then Other Info at the bottom to define and set the groups.
Then in the Investing Portfolio views you can group by Investing Goal.
