Quicken for Parent

Hi, can I install my Quicken program more than once on my computer so that I can have the bookkeeping for my disabled parent COMPLETELY SEPARATED from my own accounts?

You only need to install Quicken once on your computer. You can create a second Quicken data file for your disabled parent that will be
COMPLETELY SEPARATED from your own accounts.

You only need to create a new file and name it accordingly. I would be sure to not use any spaces in the name, as Quicken can have issues otherwise.

Don't name your Parent's file as EITHER QDATA or QSYNC, as that will frequently cause the file name to be rejected (at best) or overwritten.
And, I "liked" both Greg's and Geoff's posts
