Can I split a rental payment deposit and have it display in rental center?

In the Rent Center, record the payment for each property ...but DON'T direct those payments to your bank account. Instead, direct them to an Intermediate banking type account ... I call mine "Undeposited checks".
THEN, when the deposit comes in from your bank, use the name of that Intermediate account as the "transfer from" account.

I'm sorry. The question form was a little confusing. When download my online data from the bank. A single deposit may have several rental property payments. After the download I normally split the transaction and tag each property but I don't see it reflected in the rent center. Am I doing that wrong. I'm selecting the "Rents Received" category and tagging the correct property for each split.
