How to add shares to mutual funds

I have installed the new version of Quicken and can no longer add shares to my hand full of mutual funds

    HOW are you trying to add those shares?  What action, in Q are you using?  What's happening when you try to add those shares?
    AND, please do HELP, About Quicken ... and tell use the BUILD info that you find there.
    Also , why are you not simply downloading from the fund company into Q?  What fund company?
