Why not create a category with sub categories for your project? Then add the categories to the current budget. When the project is complete and enough time has elapsed, you can hide the categories. That is how I handled a home addition.0

You may allocate the full amount for each project category in the first month and have Quicken rollover the balance for the remaining months of the project.wabadi said:but the budget will go month to month... lets say i have a budget for 10000 and i allocate an ammount to each category, and project will take 6 months....dont see how will work. comments appreciated....best..0
